Partition Planters
Planter Partitions were designed as multifunctional office dividers that combine spatial separation, integrated greenery, and storage within a single system. The structure consists of a steel tube frame with a large enclosed base and a series of vertically stacked wooden planters that introduce natural elements into the workspace. Mounted on casters, the units can be easily reconfigured to adapt to changing office layouts while maintaining a clean and modern aesthetic.
Engineering & Fabrication
Balancing mobility with stability was a key consideration throughout the fabrication process. The combination of elevated planters and a narrow footprint created a potential tipping risk, particularly when the units were moved. To address this, substantial counterweights were integrated into the base storage section, lowering the center of gravity and ensuring safe operation. Careful coordination between the steel fabrication, woodwork, and mechanical components resulted in a durable system that performs reliably in a dynamic office environment.
